LC UTM

Welcome to Local Chapter Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

The idea of setting up AIESEC in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is pop-up when 5 Mechanical Engineering students attended National Leadership Development Seminar (NLDS) organized by AIESEC in Universiti Malaya in 1997.

After a long and hard journey, AIESEC in UTM was finally set up in 1999. 9 years into the future, AIESEC in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is one of the fastest growing student chapters in UTM, by becoming pace setters among other student chapters in AIESEC Malaysia.

Crossed Red Ribbons Alert

Starting from the year 2008, CRRA has shed light to the issue of HIV/AIDS in the community. This is due to a very obvious fact that there is a very strong stigma toward people living with HIV in our society due to lack of education and awareness on HIV/AIDS issue. Therefore CRRA aim to create awareness and educating the public on HIV/AIDS issue, and this will lead to ending the stigma toward people living with HIV. Through AIESEC, CRRA brings together international volunteers, local university students, local volunteers and the public. There is a room for anyone in the society, CRRA with the great passion and vision to end the stigma from the community toward people living with HIV and accepting them as part of this community.
